Clube da Palavra, an initiative that is part of MAP— Mostra de Artes da Palavra—presents its annual program, reaffirming its status as an unconventional, open, and deeply participatory book club dedicated to reading and discussing contemporary Portuguese literature.
With monthly meetings centered on recently published works, the Clube da Palavra brings together throughout the year figures such as Afonso Reis Cabral, Bruno Vieira Amaral, Domingos Amaral, Maria Francisca Gama, Marta Hugon, Rita da Nova, and Rui Cardoso Martins.
The sessions, which last approximately an hour and a half, are moderated by Anabela Galhardo Couto and take place in an informal setting designed to foster a vibrant and close-knit literary community. Admission is free, subject to prior registration.
