Word Club #14 “Souvenir by Marta Hugon”

​The 14th session of the Clube da Palavra features Marta Hugon and focuses on her book *Souvenir*, published by Tinta da China in 2024.

​Best known as a jazz singer on the Portuguese music scene, Marta Hugon holds a degree in Languages and Literature and also works in advertising.

​*Souvenir* marks the author’s debut in fiction and has been very well received by critics and readers alike. The book brings together eleven short stories in which characters, objects, places, songs, and various situations give rise to brief narratives that unfold at the pace of memory.
